Niall McCaughan signed off as manager of Donegal Railway Heritage Museum manager and said he will certainly remember his time in Donegal.

Through his role as railway museum manager, Niall has been an integral part not only of the railway heritage community but also of Donegal Town. He has played a pivotal role in the town’s promotion and ongoing development as a top tourist destination, particularly during the recent 550th birthday celebrations and will now take up a tourism role in Inishowen.

"Some great memories at Donegal Railway Museum as I finish my last day on site today at the museum in Donegal Town," Niall shared. "We have had many successes and much investment in our Award Winning museum - doesn't that sound great - which I know will continue to grow and innovate, no doubt keeping its place as one of the real gems in this part of Donegal and indeed the whole county. Thanks for all the memories and the support!"
