The N56 links Creeslough to Letterkenny
A gritter reportedly broke down leaving some north Donegal roads in a hazardous state this morning, with cars struggling to stay on the road.
Motorists were experiencing considerable delays on the N56 between Creeslough and Letterkenny, with unconfirmed reports cars went off the road in the icy conditions, although traffic is now said to be moving with gritters moved into the area.

"Frost bad in Creeslough/Termon area," local councillor Michael McClafferty posted. "Cars are off the road and Glenswilly/Churchill areas are bad as gritter broke down along the route people are saying."
