Circular Dress Collaborative is based at Thorn Road, Letterkenny
A stunning wedding dress from the 1920s is just one of the fabulous offers available at a sustainable clothes shop.
There is another wedding dress available for just €50, but you won’t know which one until you buy it!
“Buy it, wear it, clean it, resell it” is the motto for the Letterkenny-based social enterprise called Circular Dress Collaborative (CDC).
Created by Sheila Clancy O’Donnell in decorated and well-stocked premises based at Unit 1 Warehouse, Thorn Road, F92 X8PP, the award-winning social enterprise provides second-hand, never-worn or lightly-worn clothes in excellent condition for a fraction of the retail price and the original owner receives 60% of what the item was sold for.
“It’s a community hub for Letterkenny but also for the region, all over Ireland,” she says. “With over 3,000 articles of clothing, you can find options from Chanel shoes to Zara dresses, including a large collection of formal dresses and wedding dresses for sale, all in perfect condition, with large spacious fitting rooms to try them on.”

A hub for community, sustainability, and fashion, the CDC not only offers unique items of clothing, but also sewing, crochet, and knitting classes for all levels to help people learn how to repurpose and fix their own clothes. There is also a St Valentine's event art bash on Friday, February 14. The CDC gives back to the community by offering voluntary work placement for Transition Year students in this creative hub.
Committed to sustainable shopping and promoting the reuse of clothing, the CDC allows unwanted clothes to be handed in through appointments. Each item is hand inspected to ensure that they’re in the best condition, and brands such as Temu and SHEIN are not accepted. Sheila also refurbishes items herself - if possible - to prevent unnecessary waste.
