Donegal gardaí seek information on car after Lifford man left in critical condition

Donegal gardaí seek information on car after Lifford man left in critical condition

Gardaí have asked anyone that might’ve seen a silver/grey Peugeot 3008 - a 2009-2013 model - in the Coneyburrow Road area of Lifford to come forward as they continue to investigate an incident which occurred in Lifford last month.

Following the incident in Lifford on Monday, January 20, a man aged in his 20s, Charles Dooher, was airlifted to the Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast, for treatment of life-threatening injuries. He remains in critical condition.

A second man aged in his 60s - Charles Snr -  was brought by ambulance to Letterkenny University Hospital for treatment of less-serious injuries.

Gardaí have renewed their appeal for any witnesses to this incident to come forward.

They are particularly anxious to speak to any persons who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) of a silver/grey Peugeot 3008 (2009-2013 model) in the Coneyburrow Road area of Lifford between 10am and 11am on January 20 to make this footage available to investigating Gardaí.
