Hosts of Áine Ní Bhreisleáin Ciana Ní Churraoin
Gaoth Dobhair broadcaster Áine Ní Bhreisleáin explores the Wellness Industry in Ireland - body, mind and soul - in a new television series.
Áine has been on a journey of change over the past year with a pivot in career as she tries to find more balance in her life. Follow Áine as she tries the latest therapies and treatments and meets with people who have changed their lives in the pursuit of happiness!
Áine presented the award winning radio show ‘Bladhaire’ on RTÉ Raidió na Gaeltachta from 2019-2024 and presented the TG4 travel series ‘An Cósta Thiar’, exploring communities existing in Gaeltacht areas on the West Coast of Ireland. She is a co-host of the popular Irish language podcast ‘Beo ar Éigean’ on RTÉ and is also a columnist with ‘Seachtain’ in the Irish Independent.
She appears regularly as a current affairs contributor on radio and television. Áine has a keen interest in folklore, politics and history, traditional music and literature.

In episode one, Áine begins an exercise programme under the guidance of personal trainer and performance expert Ciana Ní Churraoin, finds sanctuary in the Dublin Mountains with the Priestley brothers at Tigh an Alluis and tries a Rage Room with her good friend Sinéad Ní Uallacháin.
In the second episode, she tries Forest Bathing in Wicklow, heads to the biggest wellness festival in Europe, Wellfest, where she tries Techno Yoga with Naoise Ní Bhriain. She also meets with Kayte O'Malley, one of the founders of the Cosy Club and even ends up howling at the moon in Galway Bay!
In the third episode Áine learns about the benefits of Kombucha with Marianne Ní Dhomhnaill, learns more about the practice of Acupuncture with John Cooke, looks at natural remedies and their place in modern medicine with Dr Clare Dillis and meets with Treasa Spragg who is an expert on sleep and on dance.
In the finale episode of the series, Áine heads to Inis Oírr on a retreat/break, investigates sacred sexuality in rural Tipperary, discusses the links between wellness and happiness with Dr Máire Treasa Ní Cheallaigh, and meets with renowned writer Michael Harding for some philosophical advice as she brings her journey to an end, for now. The show is on TG4 on Wednesdays at 8:30pm from Wednesday, March 19.
