Senator Manus Boyle will ask for the latest developments on the emergency flood relief measures for Bridge Street, Killybegs, this morning.
Senator Boyle will request the need for the Minister of State with responsibility for the Office of Public Works Kevin "Boxer" Moran to provide an update in the Seanad this morning. It is one of the Commencement Matters selected by the Cathaoirleach for discussion from 9:30am.

Government support for all the businesses, households and property owners directly impacted by last November's flooding was saught at the time, with Humanitarian Assistance Scheme requested to be activated without delay - this scheme prevents hardship by providing financial support to people whose businesses and homes are damaged from flooding and severe weather events and who are unable to meet costs for essential needs, household items and structural.
Senator Boyle has five minutes to make an initial statement and the Minister/Minister of State has five minutes to reply.
