Tickets are now on sale for the Donegal Association Dublin Annual Gala Ball for Buncrana's John McCarter, the Donegal Person of the Year for 2024.
Mr McCarter will be inaugurated as The Donegal Person of the Year 2024 at the Donegal Person of the Year Gala Ball on Saturday, March 29, in The Bonnington Hotel.
The recipient of this year’s Charity Raffle will be Lough Swilly RNLI, which is a charity very close to Mr McCarter’s heart as he served as Lifeboat Operations Manager for Lough Swilly RNLI.

“As with previous years, we are delighted to have Sliabh League Distillery onboard for our drinks reception,” Siobhan Shovlin, PRO, told DonegalLive. “They will be joined this year by Errigal Brewing Company for the drinks reception, who are based in Annagry. We look forward to seeing the style on the night and in particular who gets crowned Best Dressed Lady and Most Dapper Gentleman. This promises to be a very special night.
