Buncrana’s David Cullen and his company Opinions have won the All-Ireland Grand Prix of Marketing at the 19th MII All Ireland Marketing (AIM) Awards.

In partnership with Glanbia Performance Nutrition, Opinions also lifted the gong for Insight & market research on Thursday night.

Now in their 19th year, the All Ireland Marketing Awards are the premier event in the marketing calendar, and are judged by an in-person panel of business experts. Around 900 marketers attended the event at the Clayton Hotel on Burlington Road, Dublin.

According to the judges: “Glanbia Performance Nutrition in partnership with the research company Opinions delivered the award-winning business case study, winning the MII All Ireland Marketing Award 2025 Grand Prix, highlighting their insightful understanding of consumer motivations to build a framework upon which their global brands can be modelled.”

Glanbia Performance Nutrition and Opinions were recognised with the Grand Prix for delivering a business case study that highlighted their insightful understanding of consumer motivations to build a framework upon which their global brands can be modelled.

“At Opinions as a small independent Irish insights agency we are so extremely proud to have won both the Insight & Market Research award and the coveted overall Grand Prix award for our Global work with Glanbia Performance Nutrition (GPN) at the Marketing Institute Ireland All Ireland Marketing Awards,” David, CEO at Opinions Market Research, posted.

“For an Insights project to have been selected for the marketing industry Grand Prix is testament to the importance of research and its ability to inform strategy and drive growth. And for an Irish agency to be recognised for its work on a Global brand is testament to the quality and capability of the independent research sector in Ireland.

A critical ingredient for the success of this work was the strength of the agency-client partnership led by Rory McDonnell, which was evidenced by a mutual trust and a shared commitment to a successful and commercially impactful outcome. And another was the exceptional data modelling and analytics underpinning this from Brian Greene at Opinions. For me, on a personal note, this is a moment to treasure, and the good wishes and congratulations have been humbling.

“So, thank you to Shane McGonigle MMII and his team at the Marketing Institute Ireland, to the judges chaired by Colin Gordon, the entire team at Glanbia Performance Nutrition (GPN) for putting their faith in us and of course, to the exceptionally talented folks at Opinions.”
