Misha Quinn, a young girl with strong Donegal roots has won the under-11 category at the CRN World Open Irish Dancing Championship.
The 11-year-old took home her third world title last night at the Scientology Centre in Dublin.
Now living in Ashbourne, County Meath both Misha’s parents, Cherie and Michael hail from Falcarragh. Having previously won the dancing competition in the under 9 category, last July, Misha repeated the trick last year in the under 10 event.

Misha dances with Scoil Rince Ní Anglais and is coached by Anne English and Deane Shannon. Misha has been dancing since she was five and two out of three of her sisters currently compete also, Shaneice and Kevia who are 19 and 15 respectively.
"Your third world title Misha!," Scoil Rince Ní Anglais posted. "We are so proud of you! You smashed it and were absolutely stunning on stage today!
