Radio presenter and comedian Oliver Callan will broadcast from Bundoran beach on Monday

The Oliver Callan Show on RTÉ Radio 1 will broadcast from Bundoran beach on Monday, July 14.

Callan will broadcast from 9am-10am the morning after Donegal goes head-to-head with Meath in the GAA Football All-Ireland Senior Championship semi-final.

Callan is hitting the road and heading Northwest for three outside broadcasts next week.

On Tuesday, he will travel south to Sligo’s Strandhill where he will be broadcasting live from the seafront.

Then on Wednesday, Callan will be on another part of Ireland’s west coast presenting live from Mayo's Blacksod Lighthouse.

Across the three programmes, Callan will be speaking to surfers, swimmers, local businesses and of course there'll be craic agus ceol along the way.

Speaking ahead of the tour, Oliver Callan said: "I'm looking forward to bringing the show on tour, to the best parts of Ireland. Bundoran is the place to be, the day after Donegal's big semi-final.

“Strandhill is full of the coolest surfers and writers finding refuge in Sligo. And Blacksod lighthouse in outer Mayo is about as far from Dublin 4 as a show can get."
