Former Donegal forward Brendan Devenney is supporting the calls
Supporters from Donegal, Tyrone, Meath and Kerry at this weekend’s All-Ireland football semi-finals in Croke Park are being urged to show solidarity with the 33 children from Palestine who are seeking visas for a two-week visit to Ireland later this month.
Gaels Against Genocide In Gaza are encouraging fans to stand, applaud and chant ‘Let Them Play’ in the 33rd minute of each game as part of the call to Minister for Justice Jim O’Callaghan to show compassion and reverse his decision to refuse visas to the 33 children and their 14 guardians who are aiming to leave Palestine early next week.

The group was due to play a number of matches against clubs in Dublin and around the island, including planned stops at St Eunan's GAA and CLG Ghaoth Dobhair, during their visit organised by #GAAPalestine, as well as experiencing Irish culture and the best our country has to offer.
Former Donegal forward Brendan Devenney is supporting the calls: "Let's show solidarity with the 33 kids who need their visas granted for a life-changing trip to Ireland."
Tyrone face Kerry at 5pm this evening in the first of the two semi-finals, with Donegal taking on Meath tomorrow at 4pm in the second.
