Met Éireann issues a status yellow rain warning for Donegal

A status yellow rain warning has been issued for Donegal, which is valid for 24 hours. 

There will be significant rainfall accumulations from heavy showers, longer spells of rain and there is a risk of Isolated thunderstorms. The potential impacts are localised flooding, poor visibility and difficult travelling conditions. 

The warning lasts from this evening at 6pm until 6pm tomorrow. The affected areas are Donegal, Sligo, Leitrim, Mayo, Galway and Clare.
