Fanad Lighthouse management is inviting the entire community, as well as visitors from further afield, to come along
Fanad Lighthouse is set to welcome visitors for a special Open Day and the official launch of its new café and community hub on Friday, September 12.
The celebrations will begin at 11am, with RTÉ Raidió na Gaeltachta broadcasting live from the newly opened café. From 3pm to 6pm, the lighthouse will open its doors to the public, offering free guided tours for all visitors.
At 6pm, the official launch will take place, marking the opening of the new café and community hub. The evening will also feature the launch of An Lampa, an immersive visual journey, along with the unveiling of a new exhibition, Wayfinding in Fanad.
The event promises a warm welcome, with live music, refreshments, and a festive atmosphere at one of Donegal’s most iconic landmarks.
Fanad Lighthouse management is inviting the entire community, as well as visitors from further afield, to come along and celebrate this milestone in the lighthouse’s story.
