The National Lottery has officially confirmed that an Irish player has won the EuroDreams Top Prize worth an incredible €20,000 every month for 30 years, after matching all six numbers and the dream number in tonight’s EuroDreams draw.
This marks Ireland’s first-ever EuroDreams top prize win since the game launched in 2023. The winning numbers in tonight’s EuroDreams draw were: 1, 3, 5, 11, 20, 31 and the Dream number was 5.
And tonight’s draw has delivered even more dreams, as another Irish player has won a dreamy €2,000 a month for the next five years in tonight’s EuroDreams draw, after matching all six numbers. The National Lottery will confirm the location of both winning tickets in the coming days.
Darragh O’Dwyer, National Lottery spokesperson said: “This is a phenomenal night for Irish EuroDreams players and another landmark moment for the National Lottery. To have our very first EuroDreams top prize winner is truly historic, €20,000 a month for 30 years is a life changing prize! And to add to the excitement, we also have a Tier 2 winner who will receive €2,000 a month for five years. It’s a dream double-win for Ireland, and we couldn’t be more thrilled. We’re encouraging all our players to check their tickets, as you could be one of Ireland’s latest big winners”.
EuroDreams launched in Ireland just two years ago, and unlike other draw-based games, the annuity top prize which is worth €7.2 million will be paid in monthly tax-free payments of €20,000 spread over 30 years. Similarly, the Tier 2 prize will be paid in monthly tax-free payments of €2,000 spread over five years.
The game is played in eight countries, namely Ireland, Austria, Belgium, France, Luxembourg, Portugal, Spain and Switzerland, with draws taking place every Monday and Thursday evening at usual National Lottery agents nationwide, online or at www.lottery.ie or through the National Lottery app.
Nearly 30 cent in every €1 spent on National Lottery games goes back to Good Causes in the areas of sport, youth, health, welfare, education, arts, heritage and the Irish Language. In total, more than €6.5 billion has been raised for Good Causes since the National Lottery was established 37 years ago. In 2024 alone, €239.3 million was raised for local Good Causes in communities across Ireland.
