Donegal band Proton Pool Party to release third single this week

Stone Cold Killer is the follow-up to last Autumn's debut, He Likes Flowers and April's release of The Sand

Having recently played to a large, lively and appreciative audience at Ghostlight Sessions in the Balor Theatre in Ballybofey where they were joined by Downings guitarist Adam Cullen, local band Proton Pool Party are excited to release their third single in a year.

Stone Cold Killer is the follow-up to last Autumn's debut, He Likes Flowers and April's release of The Sand. The songwriting, vocals and guitars are by St John's Point brothers Davy and Matthew Byrne with Donegal town resident Derek Kelly (ex-Keltic Kaos) on drums.

Stone Cold Killer was co-recorded in Valley Music Studio, Ballybofey and in Clannad's Wicklow Studio where it was produced by Paul Jarvis. Moya Brennan is a valued mentor to the band, giving generously of her time and expertise.

Stone Cold Killer will receive its first airplay on Highland Radio programme Centrestage with Jimmy Stafford this Thursday night, September 11, before general release at 00.01 a.m. Friday 12 on all major platforms.
