McLaughlin’s Bar in Dunkineely is preparing to mark a major milestone this autumn as it celebrates 75 years in business.
The popular family-run bar will host a special anniversary weekend from November 7 to November 9, with a packed programme of music and entertainment.
The management of McLaughlin’s say they are especially grateful to their loyal customers for their continued support, particularly in the challenging period following the Covid-19 pandemic.

To mark the occasion, the bar has organised five live performances, including the return of a much-loved local band. Conor McAlister is lined up for Friday night, then Saturday will feature a Day Session with Gamhain, and live music from the Strining Rodgers and Returning The Mothers Band, with Aisling Meehan on the Sunday.
Guests will also be able to enjoy a variety of promotions across the weekend, while a marquee bar will be set up to ensure everyone is comfortable as the celebrations unfold.
