The scene of the crash at Redcastle on Monday morning, September 15.
Gardai have issued an update in relation to this morning’s crash near a notorious accident blackspot in Inishowen.
A car ended up on its roof following the single-vehicle collision at Redcastle, just yards from Clar Corner, on the main road between Moville and Muff.
The collision occurred shortly before 7.30am this morning, Monday, September 15.
An ambulance and gardai were called to the scene, but there were no serious injuries, despite significant damage to the car.
Gardai said the driver, a woman in her 40s, was brought to Letterkenny University Hospital as a precaution, and their enquiries remain ongoing.

The busy R238 road remained closed at Redcastle for a number of hours, with local diversions in place, as gardai investigated the cause of the collision.
The crash is the latest in a long line of collisions – including a head-on crash last Sunday, September 7 – at a series of severe bends known locally as Clar Corner.
