The Farm and Garden Open Day at Joy Farm at Ards Friary takes place on Saturday from 10am until 4pm.
On the day there will be garden demos, farm walks, seed sowing for children, music, apple pressing, volunteering opportunities and much more.
The timetable for the day is as follows: 10.15 Garden Walk with Noel, 10.45am History and Future of Ards-Brother Ade, 11.15 Apple Pressing, 11.45 Seed Sowing, 12.15 History and Future of Ards Friary and Blessing of the Garden Brother Ade, 12.45 Gardening Walk with Noel, 13.15 Planting, 13.45 Apple Pressing, 14.00 Raffle Prize and Draw, 14.15 Seed Sowing for Children, 14.30 Farm Walk with Seamus, 15.15 Garden Walk with Noel.
Coffee Shack available and music throughout. Everyone is welcome.
