A seizure of over €17,000 in suspected cocaine has been made in Donegal.
A man in his 20s was arrested in connection with the seizure that occurred at a property in Carrigans at approximately 7am last Friday.
The man has since been released without charge pending a file to the Director of Public Prosecutions. The drugs seized by gardaí will be sent for further analysis and the investigations are ongoing.
The seizure is part of Operation Tara, an enhanced national anti-drugs strategy, to disrupt, dismantle and prosecute drug trafficking networks at all levels.
