Gardaí are investigating the incident of criminal damage

A man is alleged to have deliberately damaged a parked car in Letterkenny by knocking off the wing mirror with his hand.

The incident is believed to have happened at Lower Ard O’ Donnell, Letterkenny on Thursday September 18 at approximately 3pm. 

Gardaí received a report in relation to a parked car that was damaged at that location. The wing mirror was reported to have been deliberately damaged by the driver of another vehicle.

It is alleged that the driver used his hand to knock the wing mirror off the parked car as he passed by.

“We appeal to anyone who might have travelled in that area with a dash-cam around that time to make the footage available to Gardaí,” said Garda Gráinne Doherty from Letterkenny Garda Station. “Any relevant information should be passed on to Gardaí in Letterkenny on 074-9167100.”
