Male duo sought after attempted takeaway restaurant burglary in Donegal Town

Incident occurred at Donegal Town's Diamond

An attempted burglary took place at a takeaway restaurant in Donegal Town’s Diamond on Sunday, September 21.

Two males entered the building in the early hours, between 2.45pm and 3pm, through an unlocked door to the rear of the entrance, causing some damage inside, however, nothing was stolen.

Gardaí are appealing for public assistance in the investigation of the incident.

A Gardaí statement read: “We appeal to anyone who may have travelled in the area of the Diamond between 2.30am and 3.30am with a dash-cam, to make the footage available to Gardaí.

“Any relevant information should be passed to Gardaí in Ballyshannon on 071-9858530.”
