Road separating Letterkenny-Milford and Glenties districts gets resurfaced

The Meenatinny road, which separates the Letterkenny-Milford and Glenties municipal districts, has been resurfaced.

Cllr Donal ‘Mandy’ Kelly of Letterkenny-Milford MD shared a photo of the resurfaced road to social media.

“Delighted to have the Meenatinny road now resurfaced for all the residents on this stretch of road,” he said. “The residents had been waiting a long number of years to have these works carried out.

“I want to thank DCC Roads Maintenance crew for carrying out these works. This road is now of great benefit to the residents and all road users.

“This is the last road on our Municipal District between Meenaroy and Fintown which splits the Letterkenny Milford Municipal District and the Glenties Municipal District. So a real important one that holds a bit of history.”
