Widespread rain is expected for Donegal on Thursday

A Yellow Rain warning has been issued for Donegal for this Thursday, October 2.

The warning will be in place from 6am on Thursday morning until 8pm on Thursday evening. Widespread rain turning heavy at times is expected for the county. 

Likely impacts include the possibility of localised flooding, difficult travelling conditions and blocked drains.

Donegal, Cavan, Munster, Connacht and Longford are all included under the warning.
