The Dungloe Wind Turbine Action Group meeting has been cancelled due to Storm Amy.
The meeting that was due to take place this evening has been rescheduled for Friday, October 10.
Doors will open at 6:30 for the 7pm meeting in the Ionad, which is located upstairs in the library.
“We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause, but the safety of all attending the meeting must take priority,” Patricia Gallagher said. “Hopefully it will be a calmer night for all travelling.”
A group of concerned residents are calling for the local people to be heard and stop the proposed Wind Turbine plant from going ahead to erect five wind turbines in the townland of Cronashallog, close to the Dungloe town boundary.
Concerns have been raised about the danger of Wind Turbines to human and animal health, as well as the environmental impact of the proposal.
