Gardaí are investigating the burglary in Portsalon

A window was smashed during a burglary at a holiday home in Portsalon.

The burglary occurred between Monday, September 29 at 3pm and Friday, October 3 at 9am at a house in the area of Rockmount.

A rear ground floor window was smashed and entry was gained to the property. It has not yet been established what if anything was stolen from within as of yet as it is a holiday home.

“We appeal to anyone who may have observed any type of suspicious activity or vehicles in that area between those dates to get in touch with Gardaí in Milford on 074-9153060,” said a garda spokesperson. “The Garda Confidential line may be contacted on 1800 666 111.”
