A new health food store and coffee shop has opened its doors in Killybegs, and owner Angela McGirr is thrilled with the welcome she has received.
Well known in the business, Angela previously worked in and managed a health food store for more than a decade, and is well regarded throughout the region.
Taking the brave step to go out on her own, she opened the doors of Remedy and Brew in early October, serving delicious signature Remedy and Brew coffee, a selection of food, and stocking a range of health foods and supplements.

Angela told Donegal Live: “The welcome we have got in Killybegs has been absolutely amazing, way more than anything I could ever have hoped for. It means so much to us, and we are looking forward to welcoming people to the shop and getting to know the local community.”
Her long time friend Kelly Callaghan has joined her in the new store.
She said: “Even just walking down the street, we have people stopping us and wishing us well. It is incredible.”
Angela took to social media to introduce herself.
“I worked in and managed a health food store for over 10 years which I loved, but wanted to branch out on my own,” she wrote. “I’m bursting with ideas for Killybegs.
“I have a diploma in health store retailing and an advanced diploma in health and nutrition coaching.
“If I had to pick one supplement to recommend it'd be magnesium because it has so many amazing benefits.
“I love sea swimming, Stephen King, lazy mornings with coffee and I can't wait to be a part of the Killybegs community.
“I am so touched by everyone who has reached out so far and welcomed me and I am looking forward to meeting everyone.”
