TCS Letterkenny staff members present BUMBLance with a cheque for €1,739 and PlayStation 5 Bundle
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) in Letterkenny has raised €1739 in aid of BUMBLEance, Ireland’s Children’s National Ambulance Service.
The fundraising goal set by TCS is to enhance BUMBLEance’s Vehicle 9, which specifically serves children across Donegal, by funding a selection of new toys to make hospital journeys more comfortable and entertaining for the county’s youngest patients.
The TCS IMPACT team has already kickstarted the campaign, raising an impressive €1739 through an internal staff raffle and cash donations. The company has also purchased the new PlayStation 5 Bundle to donate to Vehicle 9.
Inspired by the fundraiser, several local businesses, including O’Hara & Harrison Electrical Contractors, Aramark and Friel Construction have contributed to the fundraising efforts by donating raffle prizes and vouchers.
Now, the team at TCS are extending an invitation to the wider Donegal community to get behind their fundraising efforts for BUMBLEance. Contributions can be made easily and securely via this iDonate link and will go directly to BUMBLEance.
“Many of us at TCS have seen firsthand the incredible service that BUMBLEance provides to sick children and their families across our community,” said Chris Lynch, Senior Leader & Delivery Head, TCS Letterkenny GDC. “Our IMPACT team is passionate about supporting this incredible service, especially our own local Vehicle 9, which is of vital importance to the local community. We believe that through this fundraising campaign, we can make a real difference to the journeys of these children."

BUMBLEance provides a critical service, offering the world's first ambulance specifically designed to distract, comfort, and entertain Ireland's youngest patients as they travel to and from hospitals and paediatric treatment centres. By offering these door-to-door journeys free of charge, BUMBLEance reduces the worry and anxiety parents carry. Without the stress of managing comfort, parking, tolls and logistics, BUMBLEance lets parents focus on what they do best, care for their child.
