All proceeds from the night will be directly donated to the church fund
A special fundraising concert is set to take place at the Lifford Old Courthouse on Saturday, November 8, to benefit the Clonleigh Church of Ireland Restoration Fund.
This event is one of several being held throughout the year to support the urgent work needed to preserve St Lugadius' Church, which was constructed in 1622 and stands as one of the oldest surviving buildings in Donegal.
The evening promises a wonderful mix of Country Gospel music with a performance by the great Leslie Matthews, joined by The Mood Swings and William Sayers. All proceeds from the night will be directly donated to the church fund.
Doors for the event open at 7pm with the music starting at 8pm. Tickets are priced at €15 plus a booking fee. Attendees can make a full night of it as a pre-show dinner is also available at the Courthouse Bistro.
Community support is essential for the future of St Lugadius' Church. As considerable essential work has been identified to ensure its continued existence, attending this performance is a great way to enjoy a night of entertainment while contributing to the preservation of this historic and still-active place of worship.
