The event's theme focuses on the mythological Púca, a mischievous, shapeshifting creature from Celtic folklore associated with Samhain that is said to bring either good or bad fortune. Attendees can expect a spellbinding visual feast of large-scale puppets, elaborate costumes, music, and performance art, bringing the wild and unpredictable nature of the Púca to life.

This community event is supported by the Donegal County Council as part of the broader North West Halloween celebrations, linking the town to the region's ancient heritage. Locals and visitors alike are encouraged to attend and witness the magical spectacle that celebrates the traditional beginning of the dark half of the year.
