The tree is down on the Pluck to Glenmaquinn Road
Motorists have been urged to drive with caution in the Manorcunningham area.
Councillor Donal Mandy Kelly has shared information on his socials of a tree which is causing an obstruction.
"I have been made aware of a tree down on the Pluck to Glenmaquinn Road, blocking part of the road not far from DM Waste," he posted. "I'm told that large vehicles won't get past. I have reported this and a team will be on the ground soon to remove this tree. In the meantime, please drive with caution."
