Kitty Joe’s café to close after ‘six remarkable years’ in Mountcharles

Mountcharles café Kitty Joe’s is set to close after six years on the village Main Street.

The news has been met by a huge show of support and best wishes from its patrons.

A statement reads: “In October, we quietly celebrated six remarkable years in business, and what an incredible journey it has been. I have, however, some unexpected news to share.

“Kitty Joe's was always a dream of mine, and without the amazing support of my family, staff, and fabulous customers, it would never have been possible. As time has passed, my own life has evolved, and with a heavy heart, I have decided it’s time for my next adventure.”

Kitty Joe's will close its doors for the final time on Saturday, December 20.

The statement continues: “At this time, I would like to take this opportunity to extend my heartfelt gratitude for all the support over the years. To my amazing team Charlotte, Donna, Emma, Chloe, the ladies behind the scenes and to everyone who helped over the years thank you.

“A massive thanks to all my suppliers and tradesmen for supporting my business and keeping me operating throughout the years. 

“To my customers this will be an emotional few weeks for me. I've loved the conversations, the laughs and memories I've made with you all.  Without all your support I would have never had my dream come to life so thank you all. 

“I would be thrilled to see someone continue running a café in place of Kitty Joe's. Anyone that may have interest in this please don't hesitate to contact myself
