A Garda investigation is ongoing

A man found in an unresponsive state at a house in Annagry on Monday has died.

The man, who is in his 50s, passed away on Tuesday night at Letterkenny University Hospital.

An assistant State Pathologist is due to arrive in Letterkenny on Thursday to carry out a post mortem on the body of the man.

He was discovered in an unresponsive state at a residence in Loughanoran, Annagry on Monday, November 3. He was rushed to hospital, but subsequently passed away

A Garda spokesperson told Donegal Live that the results of the post mortem “will dictate the course of the investigation”.

Detectives are investigating all the circumstances surrounding the incident and enquiries are ongoing.
