The Cope announces €30,000 team profit share for the fourth year

The Cope is proud to announce that over €30,000 in profits are being shared with the team. 

Templecrone Co-operative Agricultural Society are recognising their exceptional commitment, teamwork, and service to the customers and community. A total of 85 team members will share in this year’s profit, relating to the financial year ending January 1 2025.

This marks the fourth year of The Cope’s profit share scheme, which is reviewed and approved annually by the Board of Directors. Chairman Pat Dunleavy confirmed that the Board is delighted to once again share the success of the business with the team that makes it possible, acknowledging the dedication of the entire team across all departments.

“Our team are the heart of The Cope,” Chief Executive Mark Sharkey said. “This year’s profit share reflects the strong performance across all areas of the business, but more importantly, it recognises the dedication and loyalty shown by our team every day. Their commitment to our customers and to the values of the co-operative drives our continued success.”

Founded 120 years ago as a community co-operative, The Cope continues to operate on the principles of shared benefit and mutual support that inspired Paddy the Cope Gallagher in 1906.

“Profits generated by the business are reinvested into our people, facilities, and the local community we serve,” The Cope said. “We extend sincere thanks to the team and its board members for their continued effort, teamwork, and pride in delivering for the community every day.”
