Rain will become widespread tonight, turning heavy at times- drier spells will develop towards Thursday morning

Dry for most of Wedneday in Donegal before rain will start to move in later on

Dry and bright to start today, Wednesday, in Donegal.

Cloud will build early on, however it will stay mostly dry for the day with just isolated coastal showers. Outbreaks of rain from the south will start to move in over the county by late evening. Highest temperatures of 9 to 11 degrees in moderate to fresh northeasterly winds.

Rain will become widespread tonight, turning heavy at times. Drier spells will develop towards morning. Lowest temperatures of 5 to 7 degrees in light to moderate, variable winds.

Another cloudy start on Thursday with outbreaks of rain and drizzle. Becoming drier through the afternoon with occasional sunny spells and just isolated showers. Highest temperatures will range from 7 to 9 degrees, with moderate to fresh northeasterly winds, strong at times on northwest coasts.
