Two males stole a sum of cash and a passport before being caught on CCTV in Letterkenny.

The burglary occurred on Saturday at about 4:15pm in Whitethorn Park.

The males are believed to have entered a vacant house after damaging the kitchen window. They proceeded to steal the valuable items from the upstairs bedroom before leaving.

Both of the individuals had their heads and faces covered; however, CCTV footage has been viewed and they were captured walking from Whitethorn Grove towards Whitethorn Park at approximately 4pm.

Following the burglary, the males ran in the direction of Knocknamona.  One of them was described as tall and he was wearing blue jeans and a navy shell-type jacket.  The other was shorter and was wearing all black clothing.
