“Explore a unique collection of artefacts and personal stories spanning thousands of years, including Stone Age and Bronze Age pieces, treasures from the Penal Times such as Ireland’s oldest known Penal Cross, items from local industry, Irish independence, diaspora connections, Muckish Glassware, and personal belongings of Irish revolutionary Napper Tandy.
“This newly curated museum unites three major heritage collections for the first time, offering a comprehensive portrait of Donegal’s past in the historic surroundings of Lifford Old Courthouse. This is more than a museum launch - it’s a new chapter in Donegal’s cultural story.”
