The windscreen of a jeep was on fire due to a piece of clothing.
The incident of criminal damage occurred on Sunday at approximately 10:10pm at Sappagh, Muff.
A jeep, which had broken down the previous day, was parked along the roadside. It appeared to be on fire and it was established that a piece of clothing was set on fire and laid against the windscreen, causing it to crack.

“We appeal to any motorists who may have travelled in that area with a dash-cam between 9.30pm and 10.10pm, to make the footage available to us,” a garda spokesperson said. “If anyone can offer relevant information, we ask them to contact Gardaí in Buncrana on 074-9320540 or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111.”
