Blustery in Donegal today with widespread showers, heavy at times with the chance of hail and isolated thunderstorms.
Through the late afternoon and evening, showers will merge into longer spells of rain for a time. Highs of 7 to 9 degrees in moderate to fresh and gusty southwest winds, gales on the coast.
Cloudy and wet at first tonight with heavy falls at times, with the chance of hail and isolated thunderstorms. Rain will gradually ease to showers overnight with clearer spells developing too. Cold with lows of 0 to 4, with a chance of frost developing in light or variable winds.
Saturday will start off cloudy but mostly dry. From the afternoon clearer spells will develop with just isolated showers feeding in from the northwest, some heavy and thundery at times with a risk of hail. Highs of 5 to 8 degrees in mostly light to moderate southwest winds.
