Loreto Letterkenny held its annual student-run Christmas Trade Fair to kick off the festive season.

The event showcased the entrepreneurial skills of second year and TY students, who held gift stalls with an array of handmade crafts, jewellery, and baked goods. The school gym was transformed into a winter wonderland for the occasion and visitors enjoyed hot chocolate and crepes to get into the Christmas spirit.

Transition Year students sold products from their mini companies. One such business was Soma Relaxation, which specialises in hand-crafted beauty projects. The Merry Mixes is a range of ready-to-make cookie mixes. Pawfect Collars sells a range of pet-friendly festive bows.

Loreto Letterkenny also welcomed first and third year students from St Bernadette’s Special School, who showcased their own handmade crafts. Local primary school students also visited the event and prizes were awarded to the best stall owners.
