These results show how eager we are to capture and share those wow-moments, and with scenery like this, it is no surprise.

With so many people posting on the go, having reliable data has quietly become part of the modern travel checklist and SIM-only plans will keep you scrolling, sharing and navigating without a second thought.”

The Virgin Media data team analysed Instagram hashtag usage for five well-known landmarks or places of interest in each Irish county. For every location, the most commonly used related hashtags were identified and counted. The total number of tagged posts for each set of five locations was then combined to calculate the overall Instagram activity for each county. The same approach was used to rank Ireland’s most Instagrammable individual attractions.
