Met Éireann has issued a status orange wind warning for Donegal tomorrow

A severe Status Orange Wind warning has been issued for Donegal tomorrow as Storm Bram is set to hit.

The Orange warning will come into effect at 10am tomorrow, Tuesday, and will last until 6pm tomorrow evening. Donegal County Council issued the weather alert for Donegal.

Met Eireann has warned that Storm Bram will bring very strong to gale force southerly winds with the strongest winds along the coast. Possible impacts include flooding of low-lying coastal areas, especially during high tide, wave overtopping, difficult travel conditions, debris, loose objects displaced, and outdoor events impacted.

The Orange Warning also affects Clare, Limerick, Galway, Leitrim, Mayo and Sligo.
