Gardaí are appealing for witnesses in connection with the collision

Two vehicles were found deserted after being involved in a collision in Newtowncunningham.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses in connection with the road traffic collision that occurred on the N13 at Bohullion Lower, Newtowncunningham on Saturday, December 6, shortly before midnight, at approximately 11:55pm. 

Two vehicles, a black Lexus and silver Lexus were involved in the collision. Both vehicles sustained “substantial damage” according to gardaí. 

No drivers or passengers were at the scene upon the arrival of gardaí and both vehicles were seized.

“We appeal to anyone who may have observed the collision to get in touch with Gardaí in Letterkenny on 074-9167100,” said a garda spokesperson. “If anyone travelled along the N13 at Newtowncunningham on that date between 11:30pm and 00:30am with a dash-cam, we ask them to make the footage available to investigating Gardaí.”
