Cars in Lifford estate criminally damaged with smashed windows

Incident occurred at Beechwood Grove, Lifford

A trio of vehicles were criminally damaged with smashed windows and damaged bodywork in an estate in Lifford in the early hours of Saturday, 13 December.

The incident occurred shortly before 0.35am at Beechwood Grove, with substantial damage caused to the bodywork of the vehicles and several windows were smashed.

Gardaí released a statement appealing for public assistance on the matter. The statement read: “We appeal to anyone who may have observed these incidents get in touch with Gardaí in Letterkenny on 074-9167100.

“Should anyone have travelled in that area or within the general Lifford area with a dash-cam between midnight and 1am on that date, we ask them to please make the footage available to us.

“The Garda Confidential Line may be contacted on 1800 666 111.”
