The Autism Family Support Group in Letterkenny are hosting a coffee morning on Friday, December 19 - and have some Christmas crackers up for grabs in a fundraising raffle.
The coffee morning takes place at the Letterkenny Library from 10am-12noon on Friday and everyone is invited.
The Autism Family Support Group is also holding a Christmas Raffle.
A 55” tv is on offer as the top prize in the raffle, with tickets costing €5 each of three for €10.
Entrants will be in with a chance of winning one of 30 prizes, including €250 worth of heating oil, five bags of coal, a Shop LK voucher, a €50 voucher for Smyths and a €50 voucher for Mac’s Deli.
All proceeds from the raffle will go to the Autism Family Support Group, a charity that helps many families who are living with autism.
There will also be a fundraising stall at the library on Friday. Everyone is asked to bring cash as they don't have a card machine. They are selling Christmas stuff like earring, boppers, pens and stockings.
The Autism Family Support Group aims to create an environment where our young people with autism feel treasured and their parents/carers feel supported.
Their mission is to support and educate young people, parents and carers and to spread autism awareness throughout the local community.
