Neil Gibbons, Clonmany

The death has taken place at Letterkenny University Hospital of Neil Gibbons, Ballyhallion, Clonmany F93 K688.

Loving Husband of Helen, dear father of Neil (Amanda), Kathleen (Emmet), Billy (Roseena) & Paddy (Sinéad).

Son of the late Packie and Brigid and brother of the late Liam.

Remembered by his grandchildren, nieces, nephews, neighbours and friends.

Neil’s remains will repose at his home tomorrow, Saturday 20th December from 11am.

Funeral leaving from there Monday at 10.30am, going to St Mary’s Church, Clonmany for requiem Mass at 11am, with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Family flowers only please. House private please from 10pm till 11am and on the morning of the funeral.

Mary Alice Black, Castlefinn

The death has occurred of Mary Alice Black, 30 Hillhead, Castlefin, at Donegal Hospice.

Wake from 5pm on Friday, December 19 at her late residence.

Funeral from there at 10 am Sunday 21 going to St Mary’s Church, Castlefin, for 10:30am requiem mass and burial immediately afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

Sorely missed by her loving husband John senior, daughters Anne-Marie McMahon and Caroline Colton (Jason), sons John, Stephen, Brian, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Family time from 10pm to 11am and on the morning of the funeral.

Fr Tom Mullin, Malin Head and Manchester

The death has taken place in Nazareth House, Fahan, of Fr Tom Mullin, late of Bree, Malin Head, and the Diocese of Salford, Manchester.

Brother of the late Jim Mullin, Teresa McLaughlin, and Mary Mullin. Deeply regretted by his sister-in-law, Patricia Mullin, and his Mullin and McLaughlin (Sheosa) nieces and nephews.

Resposing at his home in Bree, Malin Head where all are welcome to pay respects.

Funeral from there on Sunday at 10.20am for 11am Requiem Mass in St Mary’s Church, Lagg followed by Interment in the adjoining cemetery.

Donations in lieu of flowers, to Nazareth House Fahan care of any family member or Eamon Eamonn McLaughlin Funeral Director.

Conor Temple, Killygordon

The tragic death has occurred of 13 years old Conor Temple, Cavan Lower, Killygordon F93 AN8H.

Beloved son of Clare and Aidan, much loved brother to Aoibhin and Matthew, cherished grandson of Carmel and Laurence, and the late Bridget and Pat.

Deeply regretted and lovingly remembered by his heartbroken parents, sister, brother, grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Remains reposing at his late residence on Saturday, December 20 from 12 noon to 9pm.

Funeral leaving from his late residence on Sunday morning at 10.20 am for Requiem Mass in the Church of Mary Immaculate Stranorlar, at 11am.

Interment in Drumboe cemetery.

The Requiem Mass will be streamed live via the webcam.

Family time please on the morning of the funeral.

Eileen O'Doherty, Fanad

The sudden death has taken place in Letterkenny University Hospital of Sr Eileen O’Doherty, (IBVM), Ballyheerin, Fanad.

Predeceased by her brothers, James, John and Fr. Dan, and her sister, Anne Deeney.

Deeply regretted by her brother Michael, sister Mary O’Donnell and her sisters-in-law, Mary and Bridie. Sadly missed by her nieces and nephews.

Remains reposing at her late residence from 12 noon to 9pm on Friday and Saturday. Rosary each night at 9pm.

House private both nights after the rosary and on the morning of the funeral.

Requiem Mass in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Ballyheerin, Fanad, on Sunday 21st December at 1pm.

Internment afterwards in Massmount Cemetery.

Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu of flowers to the Oncology Ward c/o any family member.

Seamus Doherty, Letterkenny and Killygordon

The peaceful death has taken place at St. Eunan’s Nursing Home, Woodlands, Letterkenny on Thursday, December 18 of Seamus Doherty, 15 Orchard Grove, Ballyraine Letterkenny F92 RWV8, and formerly from Railway Road, Killygordon.

Deeply missed by his loving son Noel, nieces and nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews, cousins and extended family, friends and neighbours.

Seamus is predeceased by his wife Sally (2017), parents William and Minnie, sisters Maureen Deery, Kitty Doherty and his brother Liam Doherty.

Seamus’ remains will repose at his late residence on Friday and Saturday from 12 noon until 10pm with Rosary both nights at 9pm.

Requiem Mass on Sunday at 11.30am in the Church of The Irish Martyrs, Ballyraine which can be viewed on the parish YouTube channel.

Interment afterwards in New Leck Cemetery, Letterkenny.

Kathleen Diver, Bundoran

The death has occurred of Kathleen Diver (née Fitzgerald), Sheil Ave, Bundoran, Co. Donegal and late of The Richie Fitzgerald Ceili Band.
She passed away suddenly at home on December 18 surrounded by her loving family.

Forever loved and sadly missed by her beloved husband Sean, her adored and treasured daughters Marie-Therese, Gráinne, Angela and Joan, her sisters Josephine and Mary, her brothers and sisters-in-law and all her many nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Predeceased by her parents Richard & Ann Fitzgerald and her dear brothers Richie and Barney.

Kathleen will be reposing at the Family Home, Sheil Ave, Bundoran (F94XY99) on Friday from 4pm to 8pm. All welcome.

Removal from the Family Home on Saturday at 10.45am to arrive at the Church of Our Lady Star of the Sea, Bundoran for Mass of the Resurrection at 11am.

Removal afterwards to St. Ninnidh’s Cemetery, Newtown, Bundoran for burial service.

Jimmy Mc Ginley, Falcarragh

The sudden death has taken place at his home of Jimmy Mc Ginley (Jimmy Tracey), 48 Ballina, Falcarragh, Co Donegal F92 V3AO and formerly of Rocktown, Falcarragh.

Predeceased by his son Pio, parents Michael and Mary, brothers Neil and Patrick.

Survived by his loving wife Margaret, daughters Amanda, Mary, Sarah, Katie, Jamie and Maggie, sons-in-law, his 18 grandchildren, nephews, niece and a circle of family and friends.

His remains are reposing at his residence at 48 Ballina, Falcarragh F92 V3AO on Thursday, December 18 from 12 noon to 9.00pm and on Friday from 12 noon to 9.00pm.

Rosary both nights at 9.00pm. House private after Rosary and on the morning of the funeral.

Funeral from there on Saturday  for 11.00am requiem Mass in St Finian’s Church, Falcarragh F92 X302 with burial afterwards in the adjacent cemetery.

Helen Foster, Strabane and Lifford

The death has taken place on December 17 at Silverdale Care Home of Helen Foster (née Gormley) formerly Harte, late of Brookvale, Strabane and formerly of Lifford.

Beloved wife of the late Brian Foster and the late Billy Harte, much-loved sister of Malachy, sister-in-law of Mary and loving aunt of Allen, Yvonne and Sabrina.

Reposing at Quigley`s Funeral Home on Friday, December 19 from 4pm with removal at 6pm to St Mary`s Church, Melmount to repose overnight.

Requiem Mass on Saturday, December 20 at 10am. Interment afterwards in St Patrick`s Cemetery, Murlog, Lifford.

Deeply regretted by her sorrowing brother, sister-in-law, nieces, nephew and family circle.

Bridget Mulhern, Bridgend

The peaceful death has occurred, surrounded by her loving family, of Bridget Mulhern née McKinney Carrowreagh, Bridgend,Co Donegal.

Bridget is predeceased by her husband Mickey her sister Kathleen, brother Henry , Bridget will be sadly missed and never forgotten by her cherished family Danny (Val) Henry, Michael (Ann), Rose (Morris), Kathleen (Henry), Peter (Louise), John (Maire), William (Pascal), Mary (Jimmy), her Siblings Mick, John, Patrick, Teresa, Dinny , Liam, Tony, Sarah .

Her cherished grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, sisters in law, brothers in law, cousins and the wider family circle .

Bridget’s remains will be reposing at her home from 5pm on Thursday, December 18, where all are welcome to pay  respects.

Funeral from there on Sunday leaving at 9.30am going to St Mary’s Church Cockhill for 11am Mass with Burial afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery.

Mary Devenny, Letterkenny

The death has occurred at Letterkenny University Hospital of Mary (Mae) Devenny (Née Mc Ginty), 25 Ballymacool Terrace, Letterkenny.

Pre-deceased by her loving husband William Devenny, her parents Catherine and Thomas Mc Ginty and her brother Thomas.

Sadly missed by her daughter Majella (Robert) Mc Dowell, son Gabriel (Elaine) and daughter Deirdre, grandchildren Kelsey, Chloe, Dylan, Mia, Aimee, Jonathan and Laila, her sister Bridie O’Donnell and brothers Pat and Brendan, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at her late residence from 6pm to 10pm on Thursday, December 18 and from 11am and 10pm Friday, December 19. Rosary both nights at 9pm.

Funeral Mass in St Eunan’s Cathedral on Saturday, December 20 at 11am with burial afterwards in Conwal Cemetery.

Kathleen Scanlon, Killygordon

The death has occurred of Kathleen (Katie) Scanlon, Drumavish, Crossroads, Killygordon. F93 A309.

Predeceased by her husband Hughie, son Tim, and daughter Winnie.

Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her daughters Annie May (Adrian), Margaret (Brendan), Kathleen (Gerard), son Andy (Annmarie), son in law Tommy, by her 16 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, extended family and friends.

Reposing at her home at Drumavish, Crossroads, Killygordon on Thursday, December 18 from 5pm to 10pm and on Friday from 12 pm to 10pm.

Funeral leaving from there on Saturday at 10.20am for 11am requiem Mass in St. Patrick’s Church, Crossroads, Killygordon.

Louise Sheridan, Buncrana

The death has taken place in Letterkenny University Hospital of Louise Sheridan (Née) Deehan, 30 Lisowen Avenue, Buncrana.

Loving mother of Oran, Ciara, Aimee and Jamie.

Dear daughter of Vincent and Marie Deehan, Sister of Martina (Darren), Bernadette (Kieran), Donna (Fearghal) and Gary.

Sadly missed by her children, parents, siblings, aunts, uncles, family circle and friends.

Remains will repose at her parents home, 30 Lisowen Avenue from 7pm on Wednesday, December 17, Thursday and Friday.

Funeral from there on Saturday at 10.30am going to St Mary’s Church, Cockhill for 11am requiem Mass with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Family flowers only, donations in lieu to ICU Letterkenny University Hospital c/o any family member.

House private from 10pm to 11am and on the morning of the funeral.
