The annual Burtonport Night at the Races in aid of the festival is set to take place.
The event will take place at the Lobster Pot on Monday at 10pm. Horses are available for €10 each from members of the festival committee or the venue.
This event always attracts a capacity attendance, and another full house is expected as preparations continue for the 2026 Festival. The Festival directors, together with the officer board, are busy preparing a calendar for 2026, which it is hoped will be available soon. It will be free of charge and available in local business premises in the new year.
A subcommittee is also working on a book containing details and photographs from 1977 to the present day.
