Over €9,000 raised for two charities in memory of the late George McHugh

Two charities - Donegal Hospice and Cancer Care West (Inis Aoibheann House) were the beneficiaries of money raised in recent weeks

Over €9,000 raised for two charities in memory of the late George McHugh

Damien and Stephanie McHugh ran the Dublin Marathon on the October Bank Holiday in memory of the late George McHugh, Inver.

The fund-raising event saw a very generous response with just over €9,000 being raised.

As a result the family of George McHugh travelled to Letterkenny and Galway in the week before Christmas to present the Donegal Hospice and Inis Aoibheann House, Cancer Care West with cheques for €4,555 each.



The family are grateful for the kindness received from both charities during George McHugh's illness.
