Family members and friends of the Honourary Garda braved the elements at Carrickfinn Beach.
Honorary Garda Rory and Honorary Garda Cian were on hand to supervise the dip at the Boatsrand.
The main fundraiser for Little Blue Heroes - 'Sarah's Birthday Dip’ - was held in Gorey, Wexford, in memory of Sarah Robinson. However, Honorary Garda and their families could participate by going for a swim at a local beach.

“What a memorable and fun way to remember and honour such a special member of the Little Blue Heroes family,” An Garda Síochána Donegal said, “Well-deserved hot beverages were enjoyed following the dip and we also heard whispers about a trip to a sauna. Well done to everyone who braved the cold waters for such a great cause.”
