Bridget Ward on celebrating her 100th birthday later this month
An Arranmore woman is set to celebrate her 100th birthday later this month, with an open invitation to her party, provided you don't bring a gift.
Bridget Ward will instead donate to charity, as Denis O'Donnell explains in the Arranmore weekly notes: "An open invitation to everyone to join Bridget Ward on celebrating her 100th birthday on the 17th January in Ionad an Chrois Bhealaigh from 2pm to 6pm.

"Come along and raise a glass to the birthday girl. There will be food and drink for the guests. Please no gifts. Instead Bridget will donate to her chosen charity."
