Hanna Hats of Donegal
A Donegal Town headware business has been nominated for an award in the 2026 National Digital Awards.
Hanna Hats of Donegal, a custom headwear and accessory retailer, has been shortlisted in the eCommerce Business of the Year category.
The National Digital Awards, where this year’s ceremony takes place on February 19, at Pitch, in Dawson Street, Dublin, will see some of the “most exciting trailblazers, entrepreneurs and innovators in the country competing for national recognition.”
Victor Timon, Chairperson of Digital Business Ireland, said: “The calibre of submissions this year has been truly exceptional.
“Irish businesses are embracing emerging technologies, elevating the standard of digital experience, and demonstrating remarkable resilience and innovation.

“The strength of entries - especially in the People and Website categories - highlights a digital economy that is moving confidently into the future. Our judging panel had a difficult task of narrowing down the field to standout finalists, each of whom represents best-in-class digital excellence.”
Hanna Hats was established in 1924 by David Hanna, and marked their 100th year in business in 2024 by bringing back an original hat, the No.84 Hat Tweed, as they continue to handcraft their products in their Donegal Town workshop.
